About AWRS

Tom Morris began servicing the automotive market in 1985 by offering a superior Teflon paint product to enhance and protect the painted finishes on all types of vehicles, including aircraft and boats. His company also developed a complete line of support products for automobile detailing operations and ultimately supplied products to over 3,000 licensed operators throughout the United States, Canada, South Africa, Europe, Australia and Asia.

These products gained tremendous recognition through alliances with Coca-cola, Pepsi, United Parcel Service, DHL Express, Avis, Hertz and Budweiser. He also provide product to individual customers including Evander Holyfield, Atlanta Hawks Basketball, Don Johnson (Miami Vice and Nash Bridges), Mario Andretti and Rusty Wallace.

In 1999 Mr. Morris became aware of a very small but rapidly growing trend of repairing alloy wheels at the customer's location, rather than sending them off to be repaired by the traditional machine shops. He realized that if he could find a way to professionally repair the damage at the customer's location, he could beat the big machine shops at their own game. Through extensive research and development, he developed a method to make these repairs utilizing affordable tools and a Mobile Reconditioning Facility.

Tom Morris founded Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists in 2000 and began offering licenses to operators across the United States. He then formed Wheel Repair Solutions International, Inc. to begin franchising this exciting concept. WRSI's technology has now evolved to include equipment to straighten bent wheels and to repair machined alloy wheels. The company has applied for patents in the United States, the European Union, and Australia to protect the Mobile Reconditioning Facility (shop on wheels) and a unique wheel straightening device.
